Miami Dolphins JULIAN HILL, Fayetteville, NC to host his 1st Inaugural BACKPACK GIVEAWAY COMMUNITY FAMILY FUN DAY, located at PINE FOREST HIGH SCHOOL

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Julian Hill (“Julian”), a standout athlete from Fayetteville, NC is excited to announce his first inaugural BACKPACK GIVEAWAY COMMUNITY FAMILY FUN DAY, which will take place on Saturday, June 29th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., located at Pine Forest High School, 525 Andres Road, Fayetteville, NC 28311. This event is open to all of Cumberland County and the City of Fayetteville. 

Julian’s journey from Pine Forest High School to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins serves as an inspiration to many. Despite facing personal hardships and adverse situations, Julian’s perseverance led him to achieve his dreams. Now, he is dedicated to giving back to his community as well as inspiring the youth to know and understand that anything is possible with faith, hard work and dedication. 

This event will feature partnerships with various local vendors/organizations and foundations such as the Two Six Project, Youth Villages, Alliance, Cumberland DSS Foster, Guardian ad Litem, Find a Friend, Cumberland Health Net, Child Advocacy Center, Boys & Girls Club, ACS, Carolina Counseling Services, Connected Care as well as the Army Community Service Teams and more. Representatives from these organizations will be present to provide the community with resource information on the programs they have available and more. 

Autographs with Julian will be from 9am-10am followed by the giving away of up to 200 FREE backpacks filled with supplies (first come first serve, up to 200, child must be in attendance) with FREE lunch being served to the youth at 11:30am. 

Attendees will enjoy a day filled with fun activities, including music from DJ Ricovelli of WCCG 104.5, multiple yard games, facepainting and opportunities to interact with Julian himself. Food Trucks by Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ, California Taco and AJ’s Summertime Freeze will be present and available for purchase, offering a discounted menu for the families.
